I wanna tell you about a kid, that seemed to be going through the same thing you are. he's in my grade and a couple of my classes. he's a really nice kid that's always kind, but no one ever seems to pay a whole lot of attention to him, even though he's really funny. we had a week at school with a bunch of chapels, worship, and people sharing their testimonies about the Lord. Then, my youth pastor called up this kid to talk, and none of us knew why. He said, "I'm really nervous guys, I just wanna let you know that, but I felt called to tell you all something. last night, I was laying on my bed, doing homework, overwhelmed with the weight of the world, school work... etc. I just decided to turn all my lights off and try to fall asleep. Suddenly, a bright; BLINDING light shone in my face, and I heard, a voice saying "Matthew. my son. I want you to become a missionary." and the bright light went away and I just sat there in complete shock. I went and told my parents and they were AMAZED. they said when I was really little I used to go up to strangers and tell them Jesus loved them and was their savior. And now it all makes sense. this is God's plan for my life!" At this point the kid was almost in tears and he told us, I am telling you this not because I want attention. I'm telling you all the truth, and it's between you and God if you don't believe me. Right before my youth pastor went to pray with him, he asked if he could say one more thing that I think touched us all. he said, " ya know, I'm nothing special. I'm not the best looking kid, I'm definitely not the smartest, I'm not the best in school, I'm not the best on the team, but God chose me. and He can choose you too. he has a plan for all your lives you just need to be patient and wait for his voice." Everyone was just in awe. I'm telling you this story to encourage you. and yes, this really happened to this kid just the other day and he talked to us about it just the other day too. I figured I would tell someone to encourage them about God's plan for their lives. you just seemed like the perfect person. keep in mind, this kid is only 13, you don't need to be older or "more experienced" to hear God's perfect plan for your life. the time is now to listen to his voice. There is never a moment when God is not thinking about you. I promise, he has a plan for you, and it's starting right here with leading others to Christ. I mean I know you probably don't think 200 some followers is a lot, but it is, and if you just led 1 person, just 1 person, to Christ this would ALL be worth it. I'm so sorry for this extremely long comment, but I felt I needed to tell you so you would be encouraged to keep moving on and trusting in God. -Jenna
