Hey guys! I’m just going to give a bit of advice for what I found to be helpful during my lowest points. This isn’t limited to just existentialism, I’ve found this to be helpful for just overcoming/better tolerating pain better. So first off; the number one thing that helped me is: learn to love yourself. When life is trash, I’ve found that having someone always on your side and cheering for you really helps. (that person being you!) It’s very difficult, but it’s SO important. If you don’t know where to begin with self-love, the way I stared was just giving myself a compliment when I looked in the mirror every morning, or something along those lines. Even if you don’t mean it, in this case it’s okay to fake it until you make it lol. I can’t express how much it helps to have yourself on your side. It gives you more hope and confidence that you’ll make it through, and I strongly recommend giving self-love a try if you haven’t. I might make a whole post about this later, let me know if you’re interested/want me to expand on something. Anyways, that’s my first piece of advice😊(I’ll post this in parts) (Also, I am in no way claiming that my advice is superior or what you have to do, it’s just what helped me during my personal experiences. I’m not a doctor, just a fifteen year old girl lol) :)
nEXT UP: this sounds really cliche, but something else that eased some of the pain during this was to go out and hang out with friends/family. If you’re dealing with existentialism, or something else where you’re stuck inside your own head and consumed by your problems, then the best thing I’ve found is to talk or others or hang out with them. Whether it be playing a game with your siblings, going somewhere with your friends, or even just going shopping with your mom lol, being with other people really helped distract me from the negative thoughts I experienced. In something like existentialism, distraction is key until you heal enough to deal with the thoughts and fight them off. Even just being around other people, like going downstairs and just being by your family rather than upstairs alone in your room has helped me out. I might make this a series, like I’ll post a piece of advice every week on my account or something. Would you guys be interested? :)
Also I got a Switch for Christmas (finally!) and I’ve been playing Sonic Mania Plus religiously please help me😂😆🙌
so glad everything seems to be looking up for you! recently I've found explaining how I feel to people has taken a lot of weight off my chest as I am one of those people who thinks WAYYYYY too much (also enjoy your switch I got one last year and it's AWESOME 😆)
