everywhere i've seen it it's twenty one pilots
I do both, but what annoys me is 21p and of course 21 pilots- also for some reason i don't like when people call them "T, O, P" or "top" (like the word) I read the abbreviation as twenty Øne piløts (also the accents sometimes autocorrect in for me)
