is pride month about gay people and lesbians? 💥

we get a whole month because people like to murder us and discriminate against us.

and be religious all you want but don't let it hurt other people

we get a whole month because I can't use the right bathroom because people think I'm invalid and wrong and suddenly want to rape everyone when I walk into the bathroom to pee

we get a whole month because people specifically target us because of who we are

we get a whole month because who we are drives some of us to suicide

when grandparents are majorly targeted because they're grandparents, and when parents are majorly targeted because they're parents, we'll give them a month. when being a grandparent or a parent makes a large enough percentage of them suicidal or depressed, we'll give them a month. when large groups of people openly hate against grandparents and parents, we'll give them a month. when governments kill grandparents and parents because they're grandparents and parents, we'll give them a month.

in the meantime, try to understand that because of who you are makes your life a lot easier that others, but others aren't so lucky and that can mean death.

yeah I did because I didn't choose to be gay. it's the way I was born. gay people in unaccepting families don't choose to be gay, because that's choosing to be kicked out, harassed, or beaten and nobody wants that. we're gay, not stupid. nobody wants to feel unloved and nobody would choose to make their lives harder if it does nothing to also benefit anyone or themselves.

I respect your religion,but pride month has a purpose.As I've seen,maybe you weren't really well informed,but pride month has an specific day for every gender/sexuality which means there's a day for each LGBT+ groups (gays,trans boys,trans girls etc).This month is chosen to celebrate diversity and give rights to all the people who have been discriminated for years (just like black month history,it celebrates diversity)—it's not a choice to be not heterosexual/not cisgender.If it was a choice many people would stay heterosexual or cisgender,but it's not a choice.People don't chose to love girls/boys/other,they're just humans loving humans and there's no reason to hate on them,love is not a choice.You shouldn't take this as an offense,it's just an explanation and you can always ask for explanations when you're in doubt :) ♥️

you can always stand up for your religion when someone is offending it,but this is not an offense since it's nothing wrong :) pride month is not only about gàys and lèsbians,it's about the whole LGBT+ community.Have a nice day,pal 💕
