re:// yay! I just got out of sensory overload cause it was totally silent then my sister walked on the carpet and I could FEEL the crunch 😠I'm glad fidgets fulfill their intended purpose though. I hate how ppl think they're just distractions. my dad hates them and would throw my cube in the fire if he saw it. "they're just distracting kids from school! but yeah let's market them as something to help them focus! great job America!" Like, no it's for ppl (not just kids) who genuinely have a hard time focusing on work and need to keep their hands busy. but I guess he'd rather let me keep tearing up my hands from biting on them and getting acne scars cause I can't stop picking (especially when I'm nervous)
it's up to the teachers at my school but no one has them anymore. luckily I think I'm good enough at sneaking
hey, uh.. another thing, um... I really like talking about this stuff with you. like, we have a different diagnosis but we get each other and I like having you as a friend
Aw I’m sorry (if this isn’t a joke, I can’t tell)
Re/ RIP
re:// idk I mostly just called them edgy as a joke. Oof
XD I know the feeling
awe thanks! and idk if this is common with some mental illnesses and not others so I'm just going to ask it: do you ever just not want to speak or even open your mouth? like you know it's possible but something in you just says "no" and you start fidgeting and not making noise kinda like a baby or something
cause I get that a lot but most of the time I have to force myself to speak cause ppl don't understand
yip
I’m tired asF
that makes sense. it's actually kinda surprising that we can get along so well even though our specific illness seem like opposites yet it makes sense
