adrian walked in behind aspyn and chose pizza and a dr. pepper.

Cece shivered quietly and said “maybe we should just head back...” she settled her head on Adrian’s shoulder as usual and payed close attention to her danger sense..it was flickering..
“okay...” the hallways resembled a giant maze and he easily got lost again. “cece... i’m panicking!”
Cece got down from Adrian’s back and said “don’t worry...it’s okay..but we should hurry, my danger sense just went up like a flare a few seconds ago..”
adrian stopped. “... who?” he’d always admired cece’s unique ability. everyone at the school had one...
Cece shook her head frustrated..”the thing is, idk who they are, they somehow know how to cover that up” she said quietly. Suddenly she saw a black silhouette in a hall to their left and her sense blared “t-there over there” she whispered
“I hate shady schools” she muttered to herself
“yikes!” adrian yelped and his behind cece. he cleared his throat and tried to make his voice deeper. “erm — i mean,” he stepped out from behind cece. “i-i could harm you...”
Cece tried not to laugh at Adrian’s attempt to sound threatening. She winced as something brushed past her face. she touched her face and it was wet “We need to go. now. “ she yelled to Adrian, running back the way they came.
adrian saw one last glimpse of the shadowy figure darting in between the hallways. he blindly thrust some destructive power in its direction but by the sound of a wall crumbling, he knew he missed. “cece! wait!” he sprinted to catch up.
Cece pauses for a second as she heard a rumbling from behind. it was probably Adrian, who could heal and hurt. Her cut throbbed, and she could feel it was deep. she followed her sense all the way back to the cafeteria, where the lights were all off except the emergency ones
adrian ran into the cafeteria behind her. “creepy...” he muttered. then, he saw cece’s cut. “OMG. cece let me help...”
Cece shook her head “I-it’s fun-“ her legs fell out beneath her and she leaned on Adrian “okay..fine..” she said

“how do we always end up in messed up schools” she muttered
adrian yelped. he laid cece down on the floor gently and began to inspect her wound. he was nervous to try his power since his harming power always worked but his healing power worked only rarely. “cece...” he whispered.
Her eyes were having some trouble focusing so she just closed them. it helped with the pain too. “y-yeah Adrian..?” she smiled weakly, trying to comfort him.
he took and deep breath and held his hands over the wound. he focused on using his healing power instead of destruction. “did it work?” he whispered, eyes still shut.
Cece felt a slight itching feeling on her face. she opened her eyes and saw that her face was covered in the sparks thatAdrian had created the night they had been with Aspyn in her coma. “y-yeah..the sparks- your using the sparks to heal!” she said excitedly. they were learning more about his power everyday
“i-i am?” adrian opened his eyes in surprise. “wow...” cece looked beautiful covered in the glowing sparks so he had to stare. both of them were lit up by the soft glow of the sparks.
Cece looked into Adrian’s eyes. he looked so amazing in the soft glow of the sparks, and all she could do was stare. (hehehhee)
“it actually worked.” adrian was amazed. his hands were trembling and he had been nervous the he would accidentally use his harming power instead... “thank goodness...” he breathed.
Cece smiled gently and held Adrian’s hands, trying to calm him “I trusted you all along, you would never hurt me..” she whispered into his neck. He was so powerful, yet so afraid of that power...
“never...” adrian cried into cece’s shoulder, ashamed of himself. one small misstep could have led to the greatest disaster of his life. “i thought i lost you.” he said quietly.
Cece held Adrian, stroking his back “no..” was all she said, tears running silently down her face.

It started to get cold in the library. The widows were shut and the doors were locked. Rika turned around. "...huh?"
Blake appeared in the the library in front of her. "B-Blake!" Rika exclaimed.
"Hello Rika." Blake stepped forward towards her. Then they disappeared within a whirlwind of snowflakes.
