this is them btw!! ksksk it’s a real story, it’s set in 1901 which is crAzy to me like w o a h they were out there in 1901 really Perusing their love and everything and aH!! and at the end of the movie it said a bunch of stuff about the real Elisa and marcela and their maggiage was never annulled!! so technically they were Spain’s first gay marriage!!

if you like old movies you should definitely definitely watch it- I watched it in the original Spanish with subtitles but it has English subs too! I just like foreign movies so I don’t mind reading the subs 🤷🏼‍♀️ buT if you’re so watch it beware of the one scene with the octopus- if you think about how they had that day at the sea it make senSe but it’s still weird like??? girl w a t?? anyWays I’m just rambling
