the earth makes gemstones and it also makes coal, i find that so bizarre

it makes these beautiful semi-transparent colorful stones which people can sell for thousands of dollars and it also makes the dull quartz that little kids make into pet rocks and sell to their friends

we live in a time on this super duper earth where we know how to take pictures of other planets!!! hundreds of thousands of miles away!!!

how LUCKY are we to be in this time where diseases can be cured and people can visit other countries in a matter of hours!!
