no feminism is the belief that all people are equal the therefore deserve the SAME rights.
sexism is discrimination of gender
that's an overstatement. not all feminists think that
also, some do because...
1. why should we be treated differently just because of our gender? that's discrimination
2. it makes it sound like we're weak and we can't do anything for ourselves
3. it makes us sound like we rely on men and that men are a lot stronger and more powerful than us
personally, as a feminist, I think it's very nice when guys are chivalrous. but why does that mean it can't be vise versa? you should just do nice things for the one you love
