These are some of my favorite lyrics from Hamilton. I know you're probably internally groaning, because trust me, I know I talk about this too much. But I just want you to think. We are so lucky to be alive right now. Think about all the attacks that have happened: be it terrorist, hate, or natural disasters. Any one of those could have taken place in our own cities, our own homes. Events we've attended, crowds we've been apart of, places we've visited and vacations we've taken. WE could've been the victims. Those shootings in Orlando or Dallas couldve just as easily taken place in Portland or Chicago or NYC. The attacks that happened in Paris or Bangladesh, what's happening in France and Turkey, those could've stricken your hometown, the town next to yours, or the biggest city in your state or country. We are so lucky.
