Also, birth control pills can help too. Plus they regulate your period. So less/less painful cramps and shorter cycles!

re: Well they don't call them birth control pills for nothing! The way I take mine, I take a pill every day for three weeks (the come in a little package with one pill for each day), and then on the fourth week you take placebo pills (I just don't take them because they don't really do anything) and that's the week you have your period. But I got it set up one year over the summer where I'd take them every day. I had a little bit of bleed-through, but for the most part I didn't have a period that summer break. So yes, while you're on them I don't think you can get pregnant. But if do some research just to be sure.
