dude friendships before romance

romance is fine by me, but I feel like it has to be developed well over a stable friendship.

like one of my OTPs is Percabeth from the Percy Jackson series (gAH I'm obsessed with Rick Riordan books) and their relationship it built over 5 books of friendship and omg I love this ship asdfghjkl;

I'm not really a fan of Percabeth (I see them as close friends) but I can see where you're coming from. That's like me with Ravenpaw and Barley from the Warriors series. They started out as friends, but I hope that they're relationship was canon before Ravenpaw died. (The publisher didn't want to make it canon since they were both guys, but its such a cute couple!😂

I respect your decision. I liked it when percabeth wasn't known to be canon yet. just the small moments in their friendship were enough.
