it's supposed to be 70 degrees on christmas here?? living in the states in the south is so confusing

so I don't know what 70 degrees F feels like
70 degrees is pretty cold in Fahrenheit. In states or in my state (California) it never snows. one day I wish to come outside on my lawn to find snow.
But it hailed once at school so...:/
@reindeer in Canada, i looked it up and for me 70 degrees F is quite hot, like a week ago for me it was -40 degrees Celsius outside
