Nah it's not weird, I was bought up listening to them I actually saw the lead singer Morissey in concert last year which was pretty cool. I really like stretch out and wait and Half A Person

This might sound like I'm lying or whatever, but my surname is Keane. We did some tracing of our family tree and found out that we are actually related to Robby Keane, an Irish footballer. Apparently he is actually somehow related to Morrisey. So basically I am distantly related to Morrisey.

I can't even remember how I got into them. I think it was probably through my sister, she's a huge smiths and morrissey fans so I guess it was just from her listening to them when I was with her

Exactly. It has soul. I find it upsetting that people just listen to a certain song because someone else did. Can't they have opinions? These lyrics could kill me if I thought about them too much.

Yeah. They're definitely unique. I listen to most types of alternative music. I love a band called Motionless In White.

They have a song called Puppets (The First Snow), and the lyrics to the chorus are "I never had the words to say, but I can quote them all. I am human and I need to be loved, just like everybody else does. So Morrisey, please sing me to sleep. As I live and breathe, you have killed me, you have killed me".

I heard that and I started crying, because I found someone who shared my views on the lyrics from The Smiths' songs.

Every Smiths song is pure gold (except from golden lights, I don't like that xD) but I'd probably pick half a person, stretch out and wait or back to the old house

I really like the police , which are kinda(not really) like the smiths. The arctic monkeys, Jamie T, The Rifles. I'm in to kind of old music like the Jam and the Who, stuff that most people haven't heard of tbf

Awesome. Most people haven't heard of a lot of my music too. Blur? Their comeback album is amazing. Squeeze too. They're great. Think I'm gonna check out The Jam, I've heard people say that they're really good. Also, I like Chameleon Circuit, but that's mainly because they do songs about Doctor Who, and I'm a mega Who fan.
