Violet typed slowly. “I know that our short lived friendship has been nice..” she deleted that and typed “I’m really sorry to tell you this, but ever since we became friends..” she deleted that and sighed, closing out her notes app and putting down her phone. “I’ll just do it in person” she mumbled to herself. she got up and picked her bag up off the ground. she made her way out of the dorm building to her brother’s dorm building. she made it and walked down the hallway to go to his room. but on her walk she stopped as she noticed a cracked open dorm. she knocked on the door softly as she pushed it open. “hello…?” no answer. she walked in and looked around. there was no trace of anyone there. she was about to leave when she noticed a book on the table. opening it, she gasped at the first page. “violet, I’ve always loved you. I am so sorry.” and a name written at the bottom. Carson Waters. she slammed the book and stepped away from the table. “oh” she whispered. she turned and dashed out of the room, out of the dorm building, and back to the field. he was dead. there was nothing she could do but speculate. plus, violet had her own stuff to think about. like breaking things off with kenji. and then fake breaking up with kas. and then hopefully? hopefully life would go back to normal.
