"oh Hannah, hello! please.. come in! I see you got a haircut" she motioned to the fluffy chair in her room
Hannah sat down, and adjusted the microphone hidden in her backpack, for her tapes. "Yeah," she said quietly. "Does it look okay?"
"it looks great Hannah! so, why are you hear today?" Ms. Green asked as she turned her skinny chair to face Hannah
(here not hear)
"I wanted to talk... about some, uh. stuff," Hannah said hesitantly. "Bullying... that stuff?"
"oh I see..." Ms. Green got up and locked the door to her room "I like to keep all my conversations with students unknown. so is it you or a friend?" Ms. Green said leaning forward
"Friends? What friends?" Hannah asked.
"Hannah this is serious. I've seen you, I know you have friends. please, answer my question" Ms. Green said
"Well. Uh, I guess it's been people. One thing on top of another..." she said, choosing her words carefully. "It moves so fast. And I... I just want my life to stop."
"Hannah are you considering suicide??" Ms. Green said biting her lip
(if you want to really get Hannah upset, then talk about friends. she's sensitive about it. she doesn't have any real friends. talk about Audrey, too)
(I'm not sure if I want anyone upset ๐ถ)
Hannah sighed. "I'm sorry. That was a really serious thing to say. I didn't mean it like that..."
(it's going to play out, you'll see. she's going to die, anyway๐)
"ok" Ms. Green relaxed a bit "what makes it move so fast exactly?" she says leaning back a little
"One minute, someone is my best friend..." Hannah paused, shaking her head a little. "And the next, they're spreading rumors, and... just being so mean."
"are you talking about Audrey?" Ms. Green asked in a bit of a whisper
"Audrey, Will, Malory, Shannon..." Hannah looked up. You could see the sadness in her eyes. " Everyone. Nobody cares. Not anymore."
(hello?)
Ms. Green tensed up at the words. she had heard them so many times before... "You need to remember you ate not alone, ever. not only I will be here for you, but the principal, the other councilor. all of us. just promise me you won't do anything irrational"
(sry that took a while)
"Sure," Hannah said softly. Her eyes began to water, like she was going to cry. Then she snapped. "I don't have friends, though. Nobody to talk to..."
(yEs It DiD)
(helloooooooo?)
Ms. Green stiffened *this girl is just so stubborn!* she thought *can't she see that she does have people to talk to!* "I think you need some time to think about who your friends... erm.. allies are and come see me again"
(allies ๐)
(hullo?)
(Hannah?)
Hannah, who was wiping her eyes, nodded. "Okay. Uh, sure." She got up, and grabbed her stuff. As she walked out into the empty hallway, she remembered her mic and the tapes. "I think I've made myself very clear. But no one's coming forward to stop me. Some of you care... None of you care enough." Hannah paused. ""Neither did I. I'm sorry. So... this is the end of tape 13. There's nothing more to say." She stopped the recording, and the bell rung. Kids crowded the halls, and Hannah felt lost. She walked home alone, and uh... you know the rest.
