Feminism is kind of crazy on some levels. Just saying, it's not a movement I would want to be affiliated with because of those feminists who are trying to act like women are better in all ways than men.
^yeah. feminism in itself is an okay movement, but the members of it are insane.
feminism is NOT women being better then everyone else they say that everyone is equal look up the definition
^^feminism is the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of social, political, and economical equality to men. im well aware of what feminism is, thank you
definitions and actions are two very different things
we were given a conscience. and our conscience is what makes us know the basics of good and bad. because of our conscience, we know that inflicting pain upon another person is a bad thing because we feel guilty. we all have that (although some consciences are stronger than others). it is against our human nature to rape, murder, and insult other humans. you know why? because god gave us our conscience and the bible directly tells us not to kill, and to be good to people.
it would only make sense that god gave us a conscience based on what he revealed to us through the ten commandments and through jesus. the nature being mentioned in this post is referring to the way things are in the world. for example, it's always been normal for women to stay at home and cook and clean. there's nothing wrong with that (and there is of course nothing wrong with going out and working either). but feminists want to make up that women are being oppressed because they used to only be able to stay at home and cook and clean, when in reality, that's just the way things were. the men weren't trying to oppress us or silence us. they were going out and working hard all day while the women stayed home and raised the children and prepared meals. they had just as important a job as the men did, really.
CryingCabbage is completely right and you should be thankful that you live in a nation where women have rights
im very thankful to live here. but im not thankful for feminists telling me that i owe my life to a movement that has done nothing in 40 years.
"educate yourself" ok, gladly.
im willing to bet that ive done more research on feminism than you have, actually.
my opinion is my opinion and i can think whatever i want of your movement. whether i decide to discuss it with you or not doesn't make my opinion any less correct.
you're like arguing with a brick wall. no matter what i tell you, you aren't going to listen, so why waste my time providing you with facts?
