Well first of all it's a hamburger restaurant and sometimes I just feel every cow I'm killing every time I work (and logically I know if I wasn't doing it someone else would be, but I still feel awful for working for something I'm also fighting, it's like I'm making money doing something I'm morally against), but also lots of people quit so we're always painfully understaffed and like half the people left at so unreliable and always call in or just don't show up, and management is a COMPLETE disorganized disaster, it's just awful all around. But there are two people I work with who have become friends and they keep me from burning that place to the ground

Aww, I really appreciate those people who try to go the extra mile for my dietary restrictions, even if they don't really understand what I need, just trying means the whole world to me, because like even my own parents (meaning my dad and stepmom, my mom is vegan too) don't do that and I have to bring my own food when I go home. My best friend's mom tries so hard to accommodate me and it's so sweet
