Lol, there is no such thing as 12:00 am since, in Latin, "am" basically means "before midday" and "pm" is basically "after midday". 12:00 midnight is perfectly situated before AND after midday (being opposite of 12:00 noon, which is midday). Therefore, 12:00 can be neither AM or PM.
