The Weight Of Water is about a Polish girl called Kasienka who moves to England with her mother to try and find her missing father. At first she is lonely, outcast and homesick, and has to deal with learning English, bullies, and finding her father. It is a very poignant yet simply written story (it's written in poetry form but don't let that put you off as it's highly engrossing) and altogether makes up a beautiful story about change growing up. 10/10
