why are you opening gifts?

we are tonight because: my dad works night and he worked last night, we were going to leave for buffalo today but then my dad wouldn't get any sleep, my parents didn't know how to bring all presents to buffalo and back again because that would be crazy. so we are opening our gifts tonight after Christmas Eve service and going to buffalo tomorrow
