starting to draw again aahhhhh ok so i found out one of my only guy friends has a crush on me. he’s a sophomore and i really don’t like him in that way, he’s a really good pal to me. my sister wants me to go for him but i don’t want to date someone just because they like me, i have to like them back ya know

I did that because my brother said go for it once and that ended horribly. if he opens up to you about his feelings and you tell him that you don’t feel the same but genuinely value him as a human and want him to stay in your life, and then he just walks away because of his wounded pride and never comes back to put it aside and realize that friendship is too precious to lose

then you’ll know for sure whether or not this person genuinely cares about you too.
