my dad who’s white was talking to me about this and how with my mom who has browner skin when she faces rude people or ignorance there’s always the possibility it’s because of her skin. and she thinks is this because i’m not white? white people including my dad don’t have to worry about that

my mom has literally gotten followed around stores in our small white town as if she’s going to steal something..just because of her skin color. its disgusting. and when my dad told people in our town about that they were shocked. they didn’t even know it was happening in their own town. that’s white privileged.
