I don't think it does, but an important thing to keep in mind is that she knows she's close enough to tell you something like that. dark back stories are touchy subjects and it's really special if they tell you. and yeah I know sometimes it's like woah, oh my god I didn't need to know that, but at the same time you just gotta be there for them.
