in case if you didn't know , Barbie changed added this dolls to the collection
I agree with the bottom comment!๐๐ผ
I don't ^ ๐๐ผ
I think that it is great that they are making new dolls to make children feel more comfortable in their own skin. I know some parents wouldn't let them get Barbie branded dolls. But at the same time, I feel like it wasn't really needed and that their parents could help explain to them that their isn't one ideal body shape or skin tone. I don't know, that's just me๐
I agree with both sides. the new dolls show a more realistic body type and can help kids know what to expect
but, I bet truly depressed girls have more reasons to be than dolls.
I never liked any dolls anyway, but Barbie, great going. new dolls=new world
public school and my Instagram is personal so if you want to follow me it's @ _predic_๐๐ถ๐ผ
It's all over media and society, this idealism, and I think this is a wonderful first step to let younger children understand that beauty isn't perfection. Hit the note when they're young, and they'll stay in the right key for some time. Society needs to keep fixing things like this, until eventually maybe we'll realize that this "perfection" is stรปpid. I definitely agree with you
I think this is great, but I wish they'd done it like 20 years ago (Barbie's been around for about 60 years, I think) This probably won't solve that many problems in the world but it's great to see they're taking a step in the right direction
tHABKS BABE MY LIFES KINDA PATD RN

I absolutely LOVE the new dolls!๐
idk, i think it's good that they changed how the barbies looked to say there isn't one way to be "perfect", but I guess it doesn't really affect me bc when I played with barbies, I never thought "I want to be just like her!" maybe I wasn't a deep thinking kid, but those thoughts just never crossed my mind. >~<
