She probably didn't mean it that way. when ever I have a coach or parent that says that only makes me work harder to play better.

don't get mad just work harder, ranting will not solve the problem

what do you play? I play flute and guitar( both acoustic and electric)

I have teachers that do that to( band ) they make us work harder. Maybe talk to her and make her understand how you feel🐭
