Dear J. K. Rowling, I started reading your books around 2nd grade and instantly fell in love with them when i read the first chapter. I'm 14 now and have read the whole series twice and have watched the movies so many times i can't even count them. I have so many things to say to you but i know i will probably never meet you so i'm saying it all here. First of all i would like to thank you for being you and for writing the magical world that would change my life. Without Harry Potter i would probably not have the imaginative mind i have today. Throughout school i still get made fun of by people for loving Harry Potter but i don't care anymore because i've found a family who shares the same passion. I also love it when i see little kids come up to me and say they love Harry Potter. Without you this would have never happened and i just can't imagine it not happening. I would also like to think you for creating the Potterhead world. Without them i would have probably put down the first book after the first nasty comment. I feel bad because people only show they're appreciation for you this way on your birthday but trust me i celebrate you every time i make an edit, or watch a Harry Potter movie, or read a Harry Potter book, or scroll through the Harry Potter channel on We Heart It, or even see a small Harry Potter post on instagram. I have so much more to say but i don't think everyone wants to read all of this so i'll just end it with Happy Birthday! I can't believe you're 52 and Thank You for all you have done for me.

I get made fun of too but like you said... it doesn't matter because as cheesy as it sounds... the Harry Potter fandom is actually like a family! And we all understand each other's fangirling emotions.

Dear Harry Potter, Where can i start? You absolutely changed my life. You started out as a knowing nothing kid living on Private Drive. Now look where you are, raising your own kids with Ginny. Ever since you let that snake out at the zoo and trapped Dudley in the exhibit i have fallen in love with your stories. I always hope that i will get my Hogwarts letter every day (even though i'm 14) all because you put the most amazing form of magic in my head and heart. I have to admit i had a HUGE crush on you through the ages of 7-12 and even though i'm not that crazy over you anymore, i still love you. I lost count of how old you are but it should be in the 30s so Happy 30 something Birthday and thank you for everything you have done for me and all the magic you have showed everyone.
