Haha for real. I either put something simple like just a happy birthday or I feel the need to fill up the whole card and then I really do wonder if I mean it all or am just writing it because it feels like I should. Cards are weird things.

Yes exactly!! Irl not a lot of people even know I write poems, let alone reading them. And I definitely kept things off of pc too. But still, I'm also curious in a way, you know?? Like I kinda wanna see what would become of us outside of pc, but it really feels like leaving a safe space.

Honestly it'll probably take me a while to get used to the idea, but I'm not opposed to sharing insta's in the future :) just give me a bit to take that step in my mind haha

Yes, exactly!! Birthdays are so weird, because when do you stop wishing someone a happy birthday? Bc it feels like we kind of have to, but at the same time it's weird to have to pretend there's something still there when there's actually not. But like, as soon as you stop doing that it seems so final.
