Yes ma’am—currently reading “The Secret Keepers” by Trenton Lee Stewart, which is a children’s book (middle grade, I believe it’s called in English?) and it’s such a cute story, odd in all the right ways. Definitely not my most beloved genre, but after those Sarah J. Maas books I’m glad for a lighthearted trope of a boy finding a special watch and uncovering a bunch of secrets that ultimately set him on a quest to save his city. That is to say: Maas took my soul away and I’m regrouping before I can move on 😳😂💕

First idea off my head at that question is: underground. Somewhere underground 👀✨ After letting my villain-lair-enthusiasm cool, other ideas could be somewhere very, very secluded—maybe surrounded by dense forests or mountains to make it extra hard to get there. Orrr a seldom-used castle that would certainly not be suspicious—orrr someplace believed to be destroyed in the aftermath of some conflict (but it’s actually not) 🧐💕😂
