So my dad had my favorite candy bar sitting on the counter and I asked who’s it was, and he said his but I could have it. I double checked to see if it was okay and he said yeah. There were two so I left one for him. Just now my stepmom said “next time you see something on the counter, don’t ask who it belongs to and make them feel like the HAVE to give it to you” Like this is why I never ask for anything I need and deprive myself of food. I double checked too to see if he wanted it or not, AND I left one for him. But she STILL criticizes me about everything and ugh... She makes me feel like such a screw up. She’s so manipulative and I can’t get her out of my head.
