“Yeah,” Jordan says. She hits the ping pong ball back over the table.

“I hope we don’t have to couple up, I don’t feel like being embarrassed” he says, smacking it back.

“Me neither, but I mean... if we have to I guess we could couple up as friends. Right?” she says.

Char shrugs. “yeah, I’ll probably just go in a friend group, it’d be more fun” he reasons. he hits the ball back but it doesn’t hit the table. “darn it. sorry”

“It’s fine,” Jordan says. She grabs the ball and hits it across the table.

Char hits back, restarting the volley. “what do ya think you’ll do? go with a friend?” he asks

Char shrugs “my pleasure” he mumbles. he continues to practice his abilities, digging a small hole using the wind. he then filled it with rainwater.

George rolls over. "What IS it with people and tripping on me?" he groans.

“Sorry, maybe you shouldn’t lay on the ground as much,” she groaned. There was a huge cut all down her leg. “Oof.”

"Looks painful," he comments. "You're icy, right? Freeze it over."

Ella fancied a nap so she curled on the floor on the field as a horse and went to sleep.

“I can’t just freeze it, but I can numb it,” she says. Jordan creates a small ice block and presses it against her leg.

"That's pretty cool," he admits. He digs around in his pocket and pulls out a clean tissue. He extends his arm and offers it.

George ran around a bit and then laid back on the floor because he didn't have anything better to do and was sort of hoping someone would find him.

Char walks to the cafeteria, making sure to direct the pigs so it wouldn’t rain over him. he grabs an apple and sits on a table.

“Hey Ash What’s wrong?” Noah asks sitting net to her. Ashley swallows “You know....What if the estimate’s wrong? I could go next week for all I know..” Ashley sighs. “Well that’s highly negative..”

Char frowns. “aww, I guess your done” he says, instead directing the rays onto the horses cost so that she would dry quickly.

Ella's mane goes white. Hint no1, she thinks.

Chars eyes widen. “um..okay..a fast aging horse..?” he guesses pathetically, hoping his sun rays hadn’t caused the color change.

when she finishes they cookie she takes off her dress and changes into a sweatshirt and leggings

Ella then turns completely white, with grey flecks. She neighs.

Char pales considerably. he laughs nervous/crazily. “um..okay..” he says, moving the sun rays of the horse since he was almost positive that he had caused the color change.

“To be fair, harnessing flames from hel-“ she stopped, “Haägen-Dazs Ice Cream is hard,” She wanted to slap herself. Who harnesses everlasting flames from an ice cream brand?! “Yeah...we do,” she laughed.

Ella rolls her eyes and turns into a dog. She barks at him, almost exasperatedly.

So she walked away and saw some other fear from a girl who just walked in

Ara stifled a laugh at Jake and Amelia. She walked over to them. “Hey there.”

Jake gave an evil smirk and used his powers to make his sister think he was still there, when in reality he ran over to the snack table and started munching on everything.

Ben chuckled. “Now that was a horrible pun. I like you.”

George wandered through the wall of the cafeteria. Ella turned into a cat.

“Thanks.” Laura smirked. “It’s my talent.”

Amelia removed her hand from "Jake's" mouth, and realized something was wrong. He was still in the same position. She knew what was happening, after fourteen years like this. She stomped her foot on the ground. "Come on, Jake!" then she looked at Ara. "Hey. Sorry--my brother has got ~quite~ the personality."

Jake saw his sister with the fake him and another girl. He walked back to the spot where "Jake" was and undid the hallucination. (I am 100% sure I used all those words wrong.) "Hey." Jake said.

Jake saw Shanna walking up to him. "Oh, hi."

Ella the cat decides to rub against Laura's leg. Laura would recognise Milkshake.

"I'm Amelia, and this is my older brother Jake." Amelia said to Shanna and Ara.

“MILKSHAKE!” She screamed

'Milkshake' mewled.

Ben laughed again. “I guess it’s mine too. Also, falling.”

Amelia, startled by Laura's sudden exclamation, jumped a little and looked around, just to see a cat rubbing on Laura's leg. Amelia let out a sigh of relief.

Ara looked at the cat and then back at Amelia. “Nice to meet you. I’m Ara.”

“That’s good. We can be talented friends.”

"Nice to meet you too," Amelia replied. She saw Jake just standing there, still staring at the snack table. "Jake." she grunted, elbowing him in the rip sharply. "Nice to meet you." He said, looking back at Ara.

"Cool. I'm Shanna and that's my friend Luna. " says Shanna

Milkshake was enjoying the attention. She trotted over to Ara and sat on her foot, meowing.

Amelia rolled her eyes and then laughed a little. "Oh, typical Jake." she mumbled. "If you want to eat, go for it." She said, pushing Jake towards the food.

Ara nodded at patted Milkshake the cat in the head.

George was sat inside the cafeteria, humming to himself.

Milkshake sat on Ben's foot and meowed.

Ben laughed both at Milkshake sitting on Ara’s foot and at Laura’s comment. “Yeah, we can.”

Jake smiled and walked towards the food table, taking it all in. His family never had a lot of money, so they barely got by with enough food. But everything on this table was considered a delicacy to the Hollands.

"Huh?" replies Luna. She turns her attention to Amelia and Jake. *Oh hello there!" says Luna

Milkshake wandered away a bit and turned into a hare.

George lost concentration and fell through his chair. He yelled, "NOT THIS AGAIN OH MY GOSH."

Amelia turns around and says hello. Jake, with a mouthful of chocolate muffin, waves and makes a noise that can only be interpreted as "Hi."

Peyton stands in the corner, slowly putting grapes in Ara and Ben’s hair with his powers.

Shanna asks Amelia, "How old are you?"

Amelia turns back towards Ara. She made a puzzled face as she watched grapes float into Ara's brown locks.

Amelia, with the same expression still, says, "I'm fourteen, how 'bout you?"

Luna stifles a giggle, but you can see her smiling face.

"I'm 13! What are your powers? I know I'm asking a lot of questions... Mine are nature powers. "

Ara looks at Amelia’s expression and feels a grape float into her hair. She smacks it away and immediately glares at Peyton, who grins innocently.

George yells again. "SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!"

Luna replies, "I'm fifteen. "

Peyton runs over to George, partially to escape Ara’s revenge. “Are you..stuck?”

"What's happening!!!!!!!! Who's dying what???? I'm so confused are you ok???" says luna as she looks around for the person screaming

"They're quite complicated--you see, I can take away physical and emotional pain from any living thing, but I can feel it forever until I pass it onto someone else, and then they're stuck with it forever, too. I can only pass pain onto people if I have first taken it from someone else. I cannot just create pain." Amelia explained. Then she turned back to Ara's grape weave. :)

"I am stuck in my chair. I fell through it. Again," George explains.

Peyton raised his eyebrows. “Um, okay. How do I help?”

Amelia runs over to George. Jake sees motion in his peripheral vision and spins around. He sees everyone running towards George so he follows, gulping down the muffin.

Peyton leans back with all his weight, pulling George out of the chair.

George rolls out of his chair, brushing his hand against the chair leg. His hand stays solid. He sighs a sigh of relief. "Thanks."

Peyton nods. “No problem.” Ara walks up behind him and splashes a bit of water on his face.

"It's what I call my ghost moments. For some reason, I can't touch inanimate objects which is why I need help," George explains.

“GET OUT OF MY HEAD!” Lillian cried as she sat near the water. Relaxing didn’t work very well.

Amelia hears someone yell. "Where did that come from?" she asks herself.

Amelia looks around for any sign of a distressed person, and sees Lillian outside sitting near the water. Amelia departed from the crowd surrounding George and walked outside.

The flame slowly disappeared. She knew she said she would relax, but that wasn’t working very well. “Um yeah.” she said

Amelia walked cautiously back towards Lillian.

"So, uh, I heard you yell something..." Amelia said.

Jake walked around. He was bored. He noticed Amelia wasn't there. He wondered if something had happened to her. He looked all around the room and then spotted her outside. Jake was relieved.

Jake stood by himself in the corner. He used his powers to make it look to him like everyone was a potato. He laughed to himself and then sighed.

Jake flashed back to a time when him and his sister were younger. They were sitting alone in the bedroom they shared, on their single twin sized bed. Their dad was out of town for his work and their mother had gone to the store to buy milk. They had nothing to do. And that was the day Jake discovered his powers.

He was eight and his sister was six. "Jake, I'm bored." Amelia said to him. "Okay, then let's play! How 'bout I do a magic show for you?" Jake says, excitedly. Amelia clapped her hands with happiness and jumped up and down. 'Yes! Yes!" she said.

Peyton and Ara chatted while Ben wandered around.

"Now, what can I use..." Jake mumbled to himself, pacing around their bedroom. They didn't have much in there. He stared at the shelf with all their makeshift toys. He grabbed a stool and covered it with a bedsheet. He took his baseball cap and placed it upside down upon the stool. He placed one of his sister's dolls inside, and waved his hands.

"I, the great, magnificent and marvelous Jacob the Magician will make this doll DISAPPEAR!"

Ella shifted back to normal. "Ghost moment again, eh?" George grimaced. "More and more."

How am I gonna do this? Jake wondered. He saw his sister staring in awe at him, and inhaled. He picked up his cap, with the doll still inside it, and showed it to Amelia. "Whoa, where did it go?!" she asked, inspecting the cap.

Jake at the time thought she was just going along with it, but then he realized she really couldn't see it. Jake looked back at the cap, the doll clearly still nestled inside. "Wait, what the--" Jake said.

Amelia jumped up and down, clapping. "Another trick!" she squealed. "Okay, if you say so." Jake said. He took the same doll and held it up for Amelia to see. "Now you see it," he said.

He put his hand in front of it, and let it pass up and down. He concentrated, hoping that same phenomenon would repeat itself. He closed his eyes, wishing really hard. "Now you don't!" he said, his hand not blocking the doll anymore. "Whoa, how did you do that?" Amelia asked. "A magician never reveals his secrets." Jake replied, in awe of himself.

"Did I really just do that?" Jake muttered.

Char, still holding a hand to his head walked outside, and seeing it was a cloudy day whisked the clouds into one giant dog-cloud. he smiled and continued walking to the cafeteria. he passes a snake purposefully slithering to the cafeteria and he grins. “watcha gonna eAT? RATS?” he asks jokingly

George ordered a croissant and sat down. Ella slithered up onto George's lap.

She stuck her tongue out at Char and hissed.

Laura spit out her pancakes all over Michael when she saw the snake on George’s lap. She rolled off the bench laughing.

Char giggled and got in line. once he reached the food he got an English muffin and spread raspberry jam in it. he also got strawberries and a granola bar with milk. he sat down across from Georgie and dug in.

"It's Char, right?" George raised an eyebrow and patted Ella's head.

Laura went over and sat next to Char. “Hello.” She said, grabbing his napkin and wiping her face.

Ella hissed and slithered onto Laura's lap instead.

Laura smiled at Ella. She put a little piece of pancake on her palm for Ella to eat.
