So like on Halloween, I went to my friends schools Halloween festival cause he wanted me to see the haunted house, and so he was in the haunted house running it, and I had no one to hang out with

But then his brother comes up, and this dude's generally annoying and teases me, but he was super nice?? He introduced me to his friends and invited me to go through the haunted house with them (cause you have to go in groups, and my friend said to go through with a big kid group) which was super nice and I've been confused ever since??

Was he nice to me that day cause his friends were there? Cause he noticed me awkwardly walking around and standing against a wall??

Or did his mom tell him too? Cause his mom is the leader of the young women in church, and she's really nice so did she tell him to? I'd wonder if my friend told him to but 1. I don't think he would've even thought about it cause that's not something he'd do, and 2. I doubt his brother would've listened to him

So why was he so nice to me??

I think it was either cause his friends were there (all his friends are female) or his mom told him to. But if it was the first one, he could've just ignored me if he wanted to?? And pretended he didn't know me
