ok wow this is tough, i think maybe you should just be there for her and ask her if she wants to talk about why she is depressed. i know this is short but im not sure what to say
I know how you are feeling, I have a suicidal friend, and my cousin has tried to kill herself 5 times now. really the best thing you could do for her is to get her help. that could be therapy, getting her out of an abusive household (if that's part of the problem), a rehab center, or just giving her a place that she can be completely open and where she can feel safe.
