social media is okay because for those who know not to expose person info, social media can be very fun for personal accounts and fanpages accounts. also, you can ask people how to be careful with social media which is very helpful

you can have private accounts. they are great to see what your friends are doing and a great way to share what you love to do and what you stand for in life. like instagram, you can make it private and then only let your friends follow you. either post funny selfie me or things that matter to you in life. twitter, post words that mean importance not words that will make people think badly of you, and snapchat, well you just send hilarious selfies of your selve to friends so nothing wrong with it lol
it lets you be yourself and you can tell the friends you make stuff you can't tell your friends at school. you can make new friends that you can make in person
social media is awesome so your friends can make sure everything is going okay!
