Triggered: noun 1. anything, as an act or event, that servesas a stimulus and initiates orprecipitates a reaction or series ofreactions. I'm so sick of these triggered memes and jokes. It's not funny, you don't use the word correctly, and you may actually be triggering someone. I know those jokes aren't aimed at me, but I take some to heart. As someone who does get triggered quite easily, and has bipolar depression & social anxiety, been sexually & verbally abused, I'd like to kindly ask you to stop posting those memes and making trigger jokes. I don't find it funny. A lot of people don't find it funny. I see the word trigger and I try to avoid it at all causes because I don't want to be triggered. So please you guys, it's not funny. You can hate me for sharing my opinion in a civil way, I don't care. I just needed to get this across.

I totally agree.

I think it's a quite stupid trend and it's mocking people for reacting to things. However, since memes circulate like wildfire, it's hard to not accidentally say it. I'll take this to heart because I'm a sensitive piece of shìt and never want to make anyone hurt.
