picnic with my mom and brother and best friend (who is staying at my house all summer) and then fireworks tonight with my stepdad, too

Happy 4th! I think I’m going to Barnes and Noble and then my family and I will go to dinner or something. Are you doing anything?

mm that sounds fun !! I’m going to a party with my friend at somebody’s house that she cleans for and they invited her and said she could bring someone so yee apparently they’re right on the river and got a great view of the fireworks so I’m rly excited about that !! our fireworks are so good cos like they shoot them off the bridge and at the end they dump a bunch over the side in a waterfall and it’s so pRETTY

I usually watch them on the levy but this time I get to be on the other side :) it’s always fun but it’s hard to get to where you’re supposed to sit cos we always park on one side and then we gotta climb up a super steep hill and climb down another steep hill without rolling over ... and then the place we sit is another hill so hahha anyways we always have fun though :)

my fam doesn't really have a tradition for the fourth, so I might go have some bday cake with my grandpa (it's his bday) and cookout or have some KFC and boardgame night
