Well, 18 over 4 is already a improper fraction, so, to find that proper fraction that it would be, (because I'm assuming that that is the question) you would have to divide 18 by 4, which is 4 times, with a remainder of 2, so you would make the first number the whole that comes before the fraction, and the numerator would become 2. because that is what is left over from 18. The denominator would be 4 because that was the denominator in the original fraction. SO that answer would be 4 2/4. But, or 4 1/2, which is 4 2/4 simplified (so it would also be the correct answe
