*likes your text and changes into something comfortable before heading out to my car. checks to make sure i have what i need after locking up and makes my way to your place, shooting you a quick text to let you know*
*drives a few miles before pulling up to your place and parking my car in the driveway. takes a deep breath before shutting off the ending and texts you to let you know i’m here, getting out of the car with my bag and walking up to the front door*
*smiles softly and comes in once you open the door, saying a soft “thank you” before setting my bag down, shrugging a little* my belongings, i don’t carry a purse because they’re annoying so… tote bags for the win. and also a pair of shorts because i know for a fact that after a while, i’ll get tired of the sweatpants i have on because that’s usually how it goes at home.
*smiles gently and nods, going over to the couch and setting my bag down. fixes my shirt a little and tucks some hair behind my ears* thank you for the compliment andddd the vote of confidence.
also, you’ve got a nice place. *puts my phone in my bag and shrugs a little, looking over at you then around the apartment* whatever you’re more comfortable with, or rather wherever you think would be more comfortable as a whole. but i’m not a picky person.
*nods gently and follows behind you up to your room as i listen* ohh, that’s a perfect little coincidence then isn’t it? *walks in behind you and sits down beside you on the bed, shrugging a little bit* it depends on what genre you’re in the mood for?
I’m not much of a comedy girl, so.. horror it is. *laughs softly and smiles, nodding in agreement as I tuck my knees up close to my chest, relaxing a slight bit* classic horror or something newer?
if you want to watch a laughable horror movie, i would suggest Imaginary. it’s not scary at all despite their efforts. but im more of a classic horror gal so *shrugs a little and looks over at you, smiling gently* anything is fine with me, really.
*nods a little bit and scoots closer to you, smiling gently as i nudge your arm* how about a please? *thinks for a second after you give the options then nods, smiling* maybeeeeee The Strangers.
thank you *shakes my head and laughs softly, settling in and resting my head against your shoulder, turning my focus onto the tv* no, we can watch it tv
*turns a bit so i’m leaned into you a little more, draping one of my arms over your middle, my eyes focused on the tv screen once the movie starts to play*
*smiles a little to myself and glances my eyes up to your briefly before focusing back on the movie, lightly tracing my fingers along your side as i relax a bit more*
*laughs a little and shakes my head, smiling softly as i glance up at you* exactly, but this time the guy doesn’t care one bit *shrugs and looks back at the tv, focusing back on what’s taking place in the movie* this is another one of those movies i think are almost comically scary because it’s all over the place and dragged out
and it’s comical because madeline pesch is a pretty decent actress but she was on riverdale so that’s not saying much… and the male lead was on teen wolf… another not so amazing thing *laughs a little and shakes my head, smiling, watching the tv as i trace on your side continuously* these newer horror movies are something else.
*nods a little as i listen to you* i think i only watched the first two seasons of stranger things, i’m a boring medical documentary or medical malpractice YouTube video essay type of gal. *laughs slightly and shrugs, turning my attention onto you* but yes, riverdale was awful to say the least.
*shakes my head and smiles softly, keeping my gaze on you* no, not really. tv and actual shows aren’t much of my thing really. i tried with greys but it’s annoying, most of the main characters i mean. *laughs softly and shrugs* there’s a youtuber named petal palmer, she covers medical malpractice cases and odd diagnoses, i tend to watch a majority of her videos. they’re things i find interesting, and best of all they’re realistic.
if i could work in the medical field with children specifically, i would. but most of my kids are special needs at the daycare and that’s more than fulfilling. maybe one day, but for now i’m happy with what i’ve chosen to do *nods a little and traces on your chest lightly* what about you though? what’s your dream job or end goal?
*nods as i listen to you and continues to trace little shapes on your chest* that’s still a goal though in my opinion, even if it’s not fully decided on. if you enjoy it then that’s what matters, especially because it does offer stability. *shrugs gently and smiles* and thank you, i used to babysit in high school so it was an easy lead in, really.
*nods gently in agreement and props myself up a little on my elbow, keeping my gaze fixed on you* i’m a very spur of the moment person, so give me ideas of what you’re up for and I’ll give suggestions based off that?
mmm *thinks for a moment then smiles up at you* lets go for a swim, the weather is perfect for it. also, ice cream is messy when it’s this hot soooo not ideal
hi handsome friend of mine, i hope you’re doing well! x
