Silas hoisted Jade on his back, and started slowly walking out the the car crease zone, as he was more than a safe distance away, he collapsed. He fell to the side, Jade falling too, however Silas blocked her fall with his body. “Please,” Silas tapped her shoulder, “Don’t die.”

jax heard silas’s yell and ran faster, his eyes widening when he saw the scene up close “oh my god-“ his eyes met silas’s “it’s you..” he said, furrowing his brows
Silas looked at Jax, his eyes widening, he would have liked to say hi and chat nicely about the weather, but no he had a dying girl in his arms. Silas whispered, “Please, she’s lost a lot of blood,” Silas said, “I tried my best to stop it.”
the ambulance was still awhile away because i want to see this confrontation go down. i guess the police will also be on their way. jade’s breath was slowing down, she was losing a significant amount of blood.
Lauren ran towards the people, on the verge of tears at this point. she kneeled down towards Jade and picked up her head. “Jade, no. please, please wake up.” a single tear rolled down her cheek and she brought her eyes to Silas. she shoved him back. “what the f**k did you do?!” she screamed at him. “you didn’t even try to do cpr?! or anything?” at this point she was sobbing. she took jade’s body in her arms. “stay away. and wait for the ambulance, you dipsh**t.”

the police arrived on the scene first. one of the police officers begin to help tend to jade’s wounds and the other police officer began taking note of what happened, “I’m going to need the names, addresses, phone numbers, and driver’s licenses from both drivers,” the officer said to Lauren and Jax, “Are either of these veichles yours?” he asked

jax shook his head “no, neither of them are. we saw the scene and wanted to help. one car belongs to her and the other is his.” he pointed to both jade and silas

Ziggy had just finished her closing shift, and exited the building. She started walking towards where she parked her car. There was some sort of commotion going on further dowm the street tha had caught her eye.

Lauren nodded and fumbled for her phone in her bag to look up jade’s aunt’s number. she stuttered while reading her number. “there. yeah. she probably won’t show up,” she said quietly, then looked up at the officer. “can I…. can I come with her in the ambulance?”

cole grabbed a blanket out from under his seat and reclined. he didn’t feel like opening his pullout bed in the back. not tonight. he laid back, going back to those thoughts. the ones he had once in a while when it came to natalie. “I don’t deserve to live anymore,” he thought, “not after what I did.” marley seemed to sense that cole was not okay and made her way over to him, laying on top of him to cuddle. he wrapped his arms around her and looked at her. “do you think she’s okay? and dad is being nice to her?”

the police officers retired back to their station. good news for Silas, the police were far concerned with the murders and decided to leave his fate up to if Jade hired a lawyer. Bad news, Jade’s aunt was a highly esteemed lawyer :D

Jade got into an accident.” she held the phone away from her ear as her mom shouted her disbelief and sadness. “mom, it’s okay. she’s alive. I think I’m gonna stay with her tonight though, if that’s okay.” her mom said something else and Lauren’s eyes darkened. “yeah, I’m on it” she said quietly, turning away. “I told you, I’d make it happen. you have nothing to worry about. we’re gonna win.” she exchanged a few more words with her mom, then hung up.

Lauren handed Jade’s mom her phone and looked back at Jade, overhearing jax and silas’s conversation outside. but pretending not to. she took jade’s hand. how could jax apologize to Silas? him injuring her best friend certainly didn’t warrant an apology. it certainly didn’t make Silas being a complete creep any better. she gritted her teeth behind her mouth. and looked up at jax, her eyes watering again.
"I know who you are Ren. We went to school together." Wynona said, ignoring Ren's hand.
jax met lauren’s eyes and frowned a little, he wanted to hold her and tell her it would all be okay
“Are you sure? Is she gonna be fine? She hasn’t even woken up yet,” Silas said in a torrent of anger, “I’m sorry,” Silas said, shaking, “I’m worried,” Silas shook his head, “No apologies.”

Ziggy eventually arrived home, and headed straight to her room. She pulled an old cork board she rarely used off her wall and pinned one of the photos she'd had with her to it, a photo of Jaime's corpse.

Lauren sat in the booth. she looked through the peephole at the man, then back at her lap. “I’ve come to confess,” she sighed. “I used vulgar language yesterday while I was in a tough situation. well, it was a really really tough situation so I hope that makes it easier to forgive me.” she bit her lower lip and thought back to the scene of the crash, then shook it off. “I was frustrated and upset and I should’ve turned to the lord instead.” she glanced into the peephole. “um, also…” she folded her hands. “this is going to be… a buildup. and I’m sorry. you might get bored.” she shuddered. “I kissed a boy yesterday. it was really nice but… I didn’t feel like I was kissing him. my mind… my mind went to… to someone else.” she pressed her lips together. “I imagined it was him. maybe that’s why it was a such a good kiss. or maybe not. i don’t know.” she held her head in her hands. “but that’s not what I’m confessing.” she frowned and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. “I think the reason that I imagined him… is that I haven’t moved on fully. i see him in everyday faces. in car window reflections. and puddles. not just potential love interests.” she looked up and her lip quivered. her voice was wavering. “and the reason…. that I think I can’t move on…. is because of something else.” she shuddered and said tearfully, “a year ago. i didn’t confess it when it happened and I think I’ve been feeling the guilt and I haven’t been able to move on.” she bit her lip. “it just happened, I didn’t mean to” she said tearfully. “there was so much buildup and I… we… I lost my virginity to rowan.” she sobbed. “and I haven’t been able to let go because… when it happened, I just… I felt so guilty. like if I confessed there would be some kind of punishment. but I realized that the punishment was me not being able to move on.” she looked at her lap and shuddered again. “I’m sorry. please, please help me find forgiveness.”

Lauren got up from the booth and walked out. she wiped her eyes, but another tear fell. she knew she hadn’t confessed everything. there was more. and it was bigger. not to her, but to other people. she got to her car and got in the front seat, gripping the wheel. she needed a moment. then she’d go back to jade.

the doctors required her to stay in her room and if she wanted to leave, she would have to have an escort. not that jade wanted to leave however. her head was throbbing and her body ached— she was lucky that she didn’t experience any more head trauma. the doctors were especially concerned due to her medical history. she laid there, wishing she had someone to talk to however.
