I think lots of my earlier poems rhymed too. It's an easy way to start and totally fine. Rhyming poems are cool!! Now I just write whatever and sometimes you can barely call it a poem haha. Probably helps that I write lots of stories too, like the styles just mix lol. But hey do what you like!!
