what if what Merlin said in the beginning about Excalibur meant the dagger not the sword 🙊??

Yeah Emma took away their memories and yeah I thought about the Merlin thing too. As soon as I saw the broken sword and noticed the dagger would fit the end I jumped up and down saying 'that's what Merlin meant!'
