that sounds EPIC. I’m writing my own book right now! I’m definitely not a pro but I’ve learned a bit! it depends on what kind of book your writing. romance is books like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, etc. is great! just don’t spend the whole entire book writing about romance. the Order Of the Phoenix took me forever to read because it revolves around romance all romance. but again it depends on what you are writing. people say to make characters and don’t introduce them too quickly because it stresses the readers out but I personally don’t have a problem with it, and I needed 7 characters for my whole entire plot to work out all the way. I’m 80 pages into my book and I’ve already got the action started so never be afraid to start the action.

Girl, I got you. Alright, I’ve been working on a novel since I was eight or nine, and over the course of years, I was able to put in around 50,000 words which is actually quite short. Of course, it’s been awhile and when I was eight/nine I was working more on worldbuilding more as to actual writing. I’m not sure if you know what worldbuilding is, but basically it’s building your world. Even if it takes place on Earth, there is still some worldbuilding involved. Landmarks, Buildings, Cities, Oceans, Land, Bridges, Transportation, Food, Power, Separation of Land, and etc is all apart of worldbuilding. Of course, you don’t need to include all of this in your book. Then a year later, I started working on character development. You not only have to know basic facts such as name, birthday, interests, weaknesses, strengths, fears, but you need to know things that are like favorite song and favorite food. While that will also probably not show up, it’s important to know so you can portray your characters better. I’ve already written a lot and there’s so much more to know... I’ve been struggling with mental health recently and I was going to finally finish up this book year, but I’m not sure if I will sadly. I’ve been in a writing slump lately, so I’m kind of out of practice but I hope this helps. Also about the romance, don’t force it. If you want it to happen early, make them already dating as the book begins. Even though the best solution is to let the book go on and let it develop on the way. Unless it’s a romance novel, the plot is not built along the romance, romance is built along the plot. Of course there are character arcs which romance can drive, but it shouldn’t change the overall plot. So that covers just a few things, tell me if you need some more tips and stuff! I’m definitely not the best, but I’ve picked up a thing or two.

if your book is going to be entirely about romance, maybe have a go at the love triangle type of plot, if not, maybe keep it more on the side, maybe have a conflict that hinders the overall end goal? idk, I’m just trying to help
