Yesterday was a big day for me. A book series I've been reading since I first started reading came to an end. This book series and author mean so much to me, there are no words to describe it. But I will try anyway. I started reading this series in the fourth grade (in eight now) and it's impacted my life. These books taught me lessons, made me laugh, and love the power of words. If not for these books I wouldn't be where I am today. And that's a lot to say. If it weren't for these books I never would I have started reading. I hated reading before that point but then it all changed when I read The Wishing Spell. From then on my inner bookworm came out and here I am today. I've read a lot of books the past four years and I won't ever stop. But deep in my heart these books will always have a place. Thank you Chris Colfer, I owe you so much. Thank you, The Land of Stories, for influencing me. Reading has gotten me through a lot of my recent struggles. Times have been hard and I feel like they would've been harder had I not started to explore the worlds within the words.
