the caste system is very rigid,, if you’re an untouchable you stay there because it is believed your in your early cycles. when you’re reincarnated, you hope to be born in a higher rank in the caste system. i think it is believed that cows are the one of the highest mortal beings you can be reincarnated to, and nearest to “enlightenment”, which is why they’re so sacred
I’ve got a wrong you’re in there but I hope this helps??
It’s basically believed that if you die and lived life as a good person, you will be reincarnated into the next level of the caste system. But if you’re a bad person you may be reincarnated into a lower rank or maybe animal. Once you reach the top level and die, if you were good in that life, you die for real and become apart of their god and you don’t get reincarnated again.
the idea is that if you are in a lower caste and you live a really good life, in your next life you'll be in a higher caste
I think so anyway. It's been a while since I've learned that stuff but I think that's right.
thank you 😪❤️
