Skylar grabbed her backpack, and got ontop of her Pegasus. Hopefully this mission shouldn’t be too long. They would have to travel all the way to New Rome which was in California.
“Are you ready?” Skylar asked nervously.
They ride their Pegasus to California arriving there 3 hours later.
^^Skylar nodded before that
“Yep!” Skylar said, keeping her Pegasus down. They were a good 2 hours from New Rome, and from what they heard, this was where they were keeping the Fleece, “Let’s sneak in,”
She looks around, “There’s about five cyclops as guards, that doesn’t seem to bad,”
“They have better armor and electric spears, but if we take them by surprise, they won’t notice,” Skylar said.
Skylar shoots arrows at two of them.
The two disappeared, and Skylar zapped the third one.
“I think we’re clear,” Skylar said, as they moved into the fortress
There was another army waiting in the corridor. Skylar started to zap some of the smaller giants.
Skylar stabs some with her knife, zaps several, and shoots the others.
“Angie! Behind you!” she shouted
“No problem,” she said, “Let’s keep going,”
She moved forwards with Angie, “I don’t know where the Fleece is, but it looks like this vault would be a good place,” she said, stifling a laugh.
They somehow get into the vault, “Wow. That was easy. There’s the fleece...” She thought about reaching for it, but then she realize it was to easy, “Angie...I think it’s a trap...”
She was cut off as they both fell into an abyss.
Skylar nodded. She had a gash on her arm, and several bruises, but she was fine, “Are you okay?” she asked
“Yeah. Maybe there’s like a secret code to get out or something...”
Skylar nodded, “Zeus, Poseidon, Hermes, and Hera,”
Her eyebrows narrowed, “That’s weird...none of them are Hades but he’s one of the big three,”
(Hermes is the bottom one...oh well😂)
Skylar’s eyes opened, “Hades turned to the Titans side...no that’s impossible,”
(Zeus?😂)
(Wow that’s an odd coincidence😂)
“Yeah. When we get back, we need to keep a high alert on Hades cabin. Why would Hades turn?” she said.
“I agree...but we need to get the fleece, and get to the bottom of this,”
Skylar thought about that, “That could be true, but anyone with relations with Hades should be on high alert, but we can’t draw suspicion,”
Skylar nodded, “So how exactly are we going to get out of here?”
“Let’s do this,” she said, raising her double edged knife to find nothing there, “Well that was anti-climatic,”
“Agreed.” Skylar cautiously looked around, “Cyclops!” she whisper shouted.
Skylar raised her knife once again, and started to stab some of them.
More and more cyclops came. Skylar had a few bruises and cuts, but nothing terrible.
“What is it-“ she asked before she saw it. She gasped.
Skylar nodded, and they ran back to their Pegasus. They hopped on, and flew away.
Three hours later, they arrived back at camps
