Tomas and Emilia slowly walked in, both dateless (wow my skills right here), but they were arm in arm because even though they bicker and squabble all the time, they love each other really, but they'd never say it aloud.
Mylee nods. “I know,” she says and continues to sing.
Tomas retreated to the food table and Emilia went and hid in the corner, fiddling with her giraffe earrings because they're her favourite animal.
Hallie appeared.
Mylee and Jackie were ready so they walked to the dance and had some food.
Maddy shrugs and looks back at her book.
Tomas looks around at other people, Emilia does her best to pretend she is a fly on the wall.

Hallie stands in the middle of the dance floor and dances like a lunatic.
Jackie walked past Thomas and Mylee “accidentally” shoved her over to him. “Oops!” she said and smirked. “Oh god, I’m sorry,” Jackie said after she bumped in to Tomas.

Emilia was very satisfied because her brother hadn't fallen on his face yet, and neither had she. Her giraffe earrings were also making her feel very happy.

"I dance and do theatre. Uh, I can skateboard but I don't very often," he shrugged.

Jackie looked up. “Ummm... sure,” she said, surprised.
Maddy looks around the room with a cup of tea in hand.
Jackie took Tomas’s hand and walked onto the dance floor.
Tomas took her hand and randomly spun her.
“Whoa,” Jackie said as he spun her.
Emilia looked at her brother and felt extremely lonely all of a sudden.
Liam saw Emilia alone and walked up to her. "Hey I'm Liam" he said smiling
Mylee did some cartwheels
Tomas grinned. Gosh, he remembered having to spin for ages and ages and ages until he got 30 pirouettes.
Emilia smiled back. "I'm Emilia, nice to meet you."
