“Well I’m dumb,” Connor said and slapped his forehead. “Besides ice skating, what else do you do?”

“I’m on the softball team,” Jackie said. She pointed to a bat that was lying by her feet.
“I mean I’m in sports and dance and choir and stuff, but I’m not great at it,” she shrugged.
“I bet your good,” Connor said. “I’m in band... yeah... I’m a nerd,” he said and laughed lightly.
Hallie walks into wherever everyone else is.

Blair shrugged, “I mean I’ve done it for awhile, but it’s never been my main priority,” she said with a glassy look in herehezz.
Hallie doesn’t know what to do so she just randomly sits on the floor.

“So, have you been here?” she asked.
Hallie squirt some water from her water bottle in her eye to keep them from drying out.
“Ahh soccer. That was my favorite sport!” Jackie smiled. “When I was five,” she added and smirked.
Hallie throws the rest of the water at Elan.
“No. This school was destroyed in an earthquake a few years ago. It was just rebuilt,” Connor said.
Justin reads books about the history of cucumbers and pickles.
Hallie widens her eyes.

Hallie wins the staring contest.

“Oh,” Blair stated.
“This school is kinda.... sketchy, you know?” Connor asked.
Blair shrugged, “I’ve seen sketchier, but yeah, I see what you mean...” she stated as memories started to come back to her.
Hallie continues to sit on the floor.
A bell rung, and then someone on the speaker said, “Lunch is now being served in the cafeteria.”
Hallie jumped up. She hadn’t eaten all day and was starving.
Jackie stood up and walked towards the cafeteria. “Wanna come?” Connor asked and stood up.
Maddy walks into the cafeteria and looks around for the tea.
“Sure,” Blair replied as she clutched her ice skates. Her phone binged again revealing a picture of her and a boy. She smiled, but it slowly faded.
Connor glimpsed at Blair’s phone but said nothing.
Jackie grabbed some food and found an empty table. Connor got some food and walked over to Jackie.
Hallie gets lost on her way to the cafeteria.
Maddy sits alone at a table with a vegan pizza and tea
Justin eats lunch in the library as he reads about the evolution of cucumbers to pickles.
Connor saw Maddy alone. He waved to her and motioned for her to come sit down with him.

Connor nudged Jackie and mouthed, “Introduce yourself”. Jackie shook her head, but eventually got annoyed by Connor shoving her.

Hallie finally makes it to the cafeteria. she gets pizza and sits alone because she has no friends.
Blair responded with, “I’m Blair,”

Jackie nodded. “It’s not owned by the school, but there’s one nearby,” she said.
“Sure.” Maddy says as she sits down. “What club are you apart of?” Maddy asks as she looks up from her vegan pizza.
“I’m in band. What about you?”
Blair nodded, but she stayed out.
“sorry!” Hallie gets off the table. she has a big yellow stain on her shirt now.
“Umm.. here,” Jackie said and handed Hallie a napkin.
Hallie takes the napkin and attempts the get rid of the stain, but it doesn’t disappear.
She just held her skates and ate her salad.
“I’m doing theater I’m kinda a theater nerd..” Maddy laughs softly.
Jackie stands up. “Follow me,” she says to Hallie and walks to the bathroom.
Hallie follows Jackie.
Connor laughed. “I can’t wait for the school play. I’d love to see you preform,” he said.
Once Jackie reaches the bathroom, she pulls out an extra shirt from her bag. “Here,” she says and hands it to Hallie.
“thank you, you are a life saver!” Hallie takes the shirt and changes in one of the stalls.
“Well Thanks.” Maddy smiles. “I can’t wait to see you perform in band.”
Justin finishes making his pickles.
“No problem,” Jackie said.
“You’re welcome, and thanks,” Connor said and smiled.
“So...What instrument do you play?” Maddy asks.
Blair looked up and said, “So...what’s up?” she asked.
“this is such a cute shirt!” Hallie says looking at her new outfit in the mirror.
“Guitar,” Connor said.
Blair tapped her fingers on the table as she watched her younger sister’s first day of ice skating on Instagram. She smiled softly.
Jackie nodded and laughed lightly. “Yeah,” she said.

"No, I love defence! But apparently I'm better at striking, so I practised defence, so they put me in midfield," she shrugged.
Emilia laughed. "People tell me that a lot. Basically, I was in defence, scored a few goals. My coach said I should try striking, so he put me in for striker. I didn't want to, so I practised defence. He noticed I was good at both, and put me in midfield."
"Yeah, I'm just wherever I'm needed most, really," she agreed.
"My brother. Not my thing," she held up her hands. "I dance."
