In a rush, Liam ran down the stairs and crashed into Em. “Sorry!”
Em stepped out of what she assumed was a unoccupied dorm...or at least she’d hope. She was still confused on why she just ended up at this high school when it was graduation, but it’s not like she had anyone to tell her, she just had to rely on that little voice inside of her head. She stepped out of the dorm and began to wonder what would she do when the school closed for the summer...
Em took a step back in surprise, “No no, it’s okay,” she responded, her British accent clearly showing. She offered her a hand.
“Sorry, I was in a rush I mean I’m graduating and I’ve gotta tell someone something... You British?” Liam says taking her hand and getting up. “Thanks.”
“No problem,” Em responded, “And Yeah,” she added kind of sheepishly
“Oh cool! I’m Liam, are you new? I’ve never seen you around before,” Liam smiles
“Emma, but I go by Em,” she added, “And I guess I am? I- I was diagnosed with Retrograde Amnesia and I always seem to just forget some really important facts,” she said somewhat quietly, “So why am I joining this high school at the end of the year? I don’t know,” she stated somewhat slowly.

“Oh, that’s cool. Ah yeah it’s graduation today. This school is really weird just to let you know,” Liam chuckles.

“Last night I was trying to find my way around the school and this girl began to follow me and then she started to skip right alongside me? I didn’t catch her name though,” Em remarked, “But other then that, no,” she said
“Mmm, were you trying to get anywhere in particular? I can show you the way,” Liam says
“Front desk,” Em said, “I’m trying to register for next year and get a dorm as well...students aren’t allowed to stay at the school over summer right?” she asked, uneasily
“Actually I’m unsure but I think the dorm isn’t free over the summer or something,” Liam says. “Here follow me.” Liam walked into the main office. “Here’s a form.” He handed her a form
“Well summer is going to be the longest two months of my life,” she muttered under her breath. She wasn’t sure where she was going to live until school started, “Thanks,” she said, beginning to fill out the form.
“Yeah... no prob,” Liam says looking at his phone as it beeped. He turned it off. “Are you okay? You looked troubled.”
“Well...I don’t really have living arrangements...” she said, slowly trailing off.
“Oh... hey you know what? You can live in my old dorm if you want. I purchased the room until the end of 2019 anyways and Im moving out to go to college anyways. I’m moving out in two days anyways,” Liam says.
“Oh thank you so much,” Em said, she couldn’t really express how thankful she was. “And good luck at college,” she added
“Thanks, and no problem, I know how it feels to not have somewhere to live,” Liam says.
