One of a few resolutions I have created, if it interests you. As I have reflected on the past year, I decided this false belief in a “perfection” and form of true understanding that exists on earth devoured far too much of my time. Unicorns can be dangerous too if you let yourself believe they are going to come and kill you.

I certainly loved reading this, your thoughts are always incredible. ✨ To address pretending vs idolizing, I think pretending is really a negative form of idolizing. in terms of social media at least I would tend to think that pretending is worse. It makes everyone more miserable that necessary, including the pretender. You can’t truly feel fulfillment from pretending to be someone or something you aren’t, can you? You might get likes and complimentary comment but they’re not for you, not really. they’re for whoever it is your trying to be. And as for everyone looking at your pictures thinking you’re someone else seem to find disappointment in the fact that they aren’t the person who you are pretending to be. To me at least, it seems to be a degrading thing for everyone involved and yet everyone continues to do it. I don’t understand the reason why.
